Crazy for corn chips
Trying to be healthy can be trying. Trying to stop eating corn chips (my latest addiction, a slightly healthier addiction than cocaine no?) well I'm on a packet a day (also better than a pack of fags a day yes?) Yum, dipped in whatever, just plain chomping corn chips I just crave you little critters!!! At least I'm running them all off & everyone's gotta have a vice right, what with no dairy or gluten, life can be a lonely land if it wasn't for my crunchy friends ;)
So no healthy recipes today, just go out & buy a bag of corn chips!!! Or wait! I did weigh in today & have put on 2kgs. Noooo! This is surely the chip chomp marathon I have been training for! I do think I've put on more muscle through my strength training & Pilates (nope it's much more probably the chips) Because be warned chips are full of fat!!! Really! & so I will now have to find a healthier vice as my corny companions must be relegated to the restricted foods in life list...
sooooo I have bought a bread maker & lots of gluten free ingredients I will now be swapping the cc's for fresh baked bread for fuelling & filling ;) but there is a science to bread making apparently & I was rubbish at science at school, will see if I can rise to the challenge ( no bun intended!!!) bread recipes to follow....

50k amaze day
Luved the long weekend! Wish I could have a 4 day weekend every week! & I think I made the most of it ;) I changed my challenge just a wee bit, after drinking a bottle of bubbles on Saturday night, getting locked out & having shots of whatever in the wee hours I didn't fancy a full on run on sun! I did get up & get out into nature & walked & talked with a wonderful friend so I didn't waste the day!
But then today... I smashed it. I ran 50k ;) so I still managed a whopping 110ks in my 4 days off. This morning I ran along the coast path on a perfect day for running, with no music for a change I listened to the waves & my breathing & thought about a million & no things! I did feel super good powered by a couple of my bliss balls & sometimes u just feel awesome ;) mentally & physically connected. The sea air was intoxicating & inspired, I wanted to run forever. Well, until I had been running for 51/2 hours & I kinda was quite glad to get home.
Now I think I deserve a little glass of Pinot noir & big pub scran nom nom nom xox
